For biomedical, industrial and municipal waste, dry or wet.

A compact incinerator that handles almost all waste generated in daily life, including biomedical and COVID waste, without separation. Only stone, glass and metal cannot be burned. Because it needs no pre-treatment facility or add-on dioxin abatement device, equipment cost is low compared with conventional plant-type incinerators.

Units are mobile: a 2-tonne-per-day unit weighs about 1.6 tonnes and can run from a small 1 kW generator, so waste can even be incinerated on a moving vehicle in rural or remote areas.

The vertical combustor uses the SLA (Super Low Air) combustion method, turning waste into dried solid residue and combustible gas inside the furnace, without supplementary fuel. Recovered heat can be used for power generation, hot water or an absorption chiller.

The technology is used worldwide and suits both public and private sector projects.

How it works

The SLA combustion process

Two-stage combustion burns solids and gas separately, keeping harmful substances in the flue gas to a minimum.

Automated feeding

Waste is fed continuously and drops by gravity into the vertical combustor. No pre-treatment is needed.

Drying

Hot pyrolysis gas rising through the furnace dries fresh waste on the top layer.

Pyrolysis

Super-low-air primary combustion (air ratio λ 0.1–0.4) carbonises the waste and releases combustible gas.

Complete burn-out

A long retention time burns remaining solids to ash, discharged to a water-sealed ash conveyor.

Gas combustion & recovery

Secondary air burns the gas in the upper furnace; the heat can generate power, hot water or chilling.
